Raul Rivero of Miami - Appointed to the JUA Board

 

President of Insurance Corporate Consultants in Coral Gables, Raul Rivero of Miami, believed it to be a privilege and an honor to be appointed to join the Joint Underwriting Association board. The Joint Underwriting Association board was created in 2006. The goal and intent of the association was to aid Florida companies in acquiring commercial property. The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation negotiated with insurance companies to write the policies for these companies. Raul Rivero of Miami was grateful to a part of this association and to help the businesses of the peninsula state of Florida.

The first meeting of the Joint Underwriting Association board with its thirteen members, including Raul Rivero of Miami, took place on August 25th, 2006. Together these members looked to get off on the right foot and establish their process early. The first meeting brought the board members together for the first time and in it they decided on the rates and forms that would be used in the policies and how to create more available coverage for companies.

Raul Rivero of Miami brought his great experience to the table. The Florida Department of Financial Services stated that the State Chief Financial Officer, Tom Gallagher, chose all of the thirteen appointees to the Joint Underwriting board, including Raul Rivero of Miami, who were from all over the state of Florida.

Raul Rivero of Miami is a great man of faith. Compelled by his faith to do good and to give, he has become a man with a heart of gold as he contributes in a variety of ways to his church group and those who are associated with his faith. Raul Rivero of Miami attends his local parish, The Church of Little Flowers. Located in Coral Gables, Florida where Rivero lives, the parish is happy to have Raul Rivero as a part of the congregation. He has made significant contributions to the Catholic Church.

Both the St. Teresa Catholic School and the Christopher Columbus Catholic High School are pleased to have had Raul Rivero of Miami work with them. Rivero served as the Chairman of the Advisory Board for four years for St. Teresa Catholic School. For the Christopher Columbus Catholic High School, Rivero served on the school’s Alumni Association.

One of the great contributions that Raul Rivero of Miami gave to the Church of the Little Flowers, is a softball tournament. The Reverend Arthur Dennison’s Emmaus Men’s Softball Tournament was founded by Raul Rivero of Miami. He started the tournament with the intent of raising money for the local charities in the area. The tournament has become an important part of the community and a lucrative one for the charities around. Within the first six years of existence, the tournament raised over one hundred thousand dollars; this led to Raul Rivero of Miami being granted a leadership award for starting the fundraising softball tournament.

Raul Rivero of Miami is a man of faith who is deeply involved with his Catholic church and those who are associated with it. Throughout his life he has made a variety of contributions to the community of his church. Schools and charities alike have experienced the generosity of Raul Rivero of Miami. A strong believer and member of his belief, he has served in a variety of ways for his community of believers.

 

Raul Rivero of Miami is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Christopher Columbus Alumni Association.

 

One of the most notable contributions of Raul Rivero of Miami was a man’s softball tournament. The Emmaus Men’s Softball Tournament was founded by Raul Rivero of Miami. Rivero created the tournament as a way to raise funds for the local charities that were in connection with his local parish, the Church of the Little Flowers.

This tournament has become a big deal in the community and raised a large amount of money every year. In the first six years of the existence of the tournament, over one hundred thousand dollars was raised for the local charities. For the creation of this fun tournament, Raul Rivero of Miami was presented with a leadership award.

Raul Rivero of Miami has also donated his time to Catholic schools such as the St. Teresa Catholic School and the Christopher Columbus Catholic High School for boys. Both of these schools were happy to have Raul Rivero of Miami serve the school. A strong man of faith, Raul Rivero of Miami puts into action his beliefs and the delivers generosity to everyone that he can.
